Brodhead is a small community surrounded by a lot of wonderful things, some of which are:
the eighteen hole golf course - Decatur Lake Country Club; 23 mile Sugar River State Trail
- biking, hiking, cross country skiing & snowmobiling; three full service banks; revitalized
downtown area; many stores to shop at; a new high school in 1996; remodeled middle school in
1996; remodeled elementary school in 1990; new fire department building in 1994; a new City
Hall in 1999; and the Brodhead Historical Society preserving history through the Depot Museum.
The city has experienced growth in the TIF district, which adds to two stable industrial
businesses. Brodhead is a great community with wonderful people who have a focus on progress.
